This rum is woody, earthy with vanilla and dried fruits/red wine in the background. Other typical Agricole notes like leather and chocolate are also found. On the palate rather sharp and bitter notes, but also at the same time a bit sweet, which can be explained by the finish with Spanish red wine. The rum never fully convinced me, although it is the best rum of the Aldea distillery. Price is a bit expensive if you don't buy it in Spain.

Bottle Market Bremen Oktober 2024. Ebenfalls beim rausgehen mitgenommen. Dieser sagt mir aber nicht ganz zu. Nase überwiegend holzig, aber auch Vanille, Karamell und Schokolade erkennbar. Am Gaumen für mich zu süß, Schokolade und Karamell stechen hier hervor und stellen das Holz leider in den Hintergrund.

I bought this rum at the bottle market in Bremen and actually find it quite good. A nice dark note of coffee and chocolate and not too sweet. Alcohol well integrated, so a good purchase.
