This one I liked today, I just wanted an easy and good sipper, tried the sample and got exactly that. It is a bit sweeter, not not too overpowering, and the higher ABV does improve the juice substantially. It is, however, not for those seeking complex aromas, but does work quite well nonetheless.

Na ja, der wirkt richtig schlecht im Gegensatz zum Foursquare eben, obwohl er recht solide ist. Sehr fruchtig in der Nase, am Gaumen dann doch etwas zu süß, Dank Karamell, Vanille und Honig, aber die verdammte Orangenschale versaut ihn dann doch zu sehr.

09.11.2019 Had a nice evening with friends and bottles wrapped in tinfoil ☺️ Notes. Medium dark in colour. Nose: fresh, wood, spice, medicinal, caramel,orange, raisin. Palate: round, fresh, herbs, floral, caramel sweet, wood, medium dry. Finish: medium long, lightly dry, herbal, wood, dried fruit, light caramel.

16th day in the Christmas calendar. Blind! Although I had it in the glass about a year ago, I didn't recognize it. Back then it seemed more chocolatey on the nose and sweeter on the palate. Shows again that circumstances and quantity (here only 2cl) influence... Nose: fresh-spicy-floral, honey-sweet but also metallic-fresh, tropical fruits like lychee and maraschino cherry. Caramel, syrup, and vanilla. Palate: Spanish, grapefruit peel, a bit bitter and sharp, salty and iodine. Vanilla and at the back tea and some licorice. So-so...
