28.05.2021 Relaxing at home with some nice samples. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, glue, fruity, overripe, berries, light caramel, anise, light ester. Palate Balanced, light, anise, light wood, light caramel, glue, berries, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, light, wood, light anise, light berries, faint pineapple, light glue.

Easy to drink GA, tasty fruity floral, relatively neutral regarding the port which I like... unfortunately a bit weak, so more of a daily (if you have enough 😅). Whoever gets it at a fair price can't go wrong.

At the nose very many fruity notes, especially tropical fruits including pineapple and banana, plus the typical Savanna chewing gum notes for me and some menthol, spices and port wine. On the palate the same game as on the nose. A pretty round rum, which is quite easy to drink due to its dilution. I like it.

Eine schöne, fruchtige Nase, typisches Grand Arome Profil, so wie ich es mag. Sehr vielversprechend. Und dann eine ziemliche Enttäuschung am Gaumen. Die Verdünnung schlägt voll zu, der Rum kommt schwach und wässrig rüber. Schade!

On retrouve bien les caractéristiques du grand arôme. Il y a des Esters mais qui ne sont pas trop prenant, bien arrondi par le fuit. De jolies notes fruitées sucrée contraste avec la saumure et l olive. Facile à boire. Malgré les 46°, il reste plutôt solide! J aime bien ça.

A very interesting Savanna GA... surprisingly the low ABV doesn't bother here. There are enough aromas present to carry the flavor profile. For me, however, the port wine finish comes through too strongly here, especially on the finish.

Der ist dann schon wieder etwas besser. Aber dank des niedrigen ABV eher als Sipper gedacht ;) Jedenfalls sehr fruchtig in der Nase und am Gaumen, überreife Banane ist hier erkennbar. Am Gaumen außerdem würzig und holzig, auch Kräuter sind erkennbar.

A very pleasant Savanna with a very pleasant price. A bunch of fruit, esters, flowers. It's surprising how many flavors such a low ABV can offer. These high ester Savannas are just great. Everyone should try!

Grand Arôme of the rather small variety ... a Grand Arömchen, so to speak. A little thin due to the low ABV but nice and dark in character - probably due to the port finish. Nice sipper but no savanna taste explosion

A wonderful nose, that's what I love about Savanna! In this case probably even darker due to the port finish. Herbs and menthol paired with red fruits and a sweetness of very ripe banana. I like it very much. Surprisingly thin in the mouth and still somewhat alcoholic. The port comes through well, paired with some wood and spice. Unfortunately a little disappointing after the nose. In the finish, however, really cool Em-Eukal sweets come to the fore again

A nice rum from Savanna with some pleasant Grand Arôme notes. Unfortunately, the alcohol is not well integrated, making the rum feel quite sharp on both the nose and the palate. Another drawback is that, despite its 46%, it comes across as rather thin on the palate, with a disappointingly short finish due to the dilution…

A great Savanna, the RumX descriptors do not do justice to the savoriness, acidity, and complexity of this rum. Unbalanced but really remarkable. The problem with these releases is that they've reached crazy prices and no one opens them anymore to drink.

For the price of about 50e you get quite a lot here. I was pleasantly surprised . Earthy notes of herbs and spices with licorice meet red fruits and hints of red wine. Also little estery, nice dose of wood.
