Red fruits, caramel, red wine-like alcohol note, vanilla and a hint of coffee on the nose. Little complexity. Some promising notes on the palate, but also noticeable alcohol for 40%. Quite a bit has been smoothed out with sweetening here.

10.09.2021 Sitting at home with some samples. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Light, wood, fruity, dried fruit, light caramel. Palate Light, wood, faint roasted, light caramel, cherry, sweet, faint nutts. Finish Medium long, sweet, wood, faint coffee, faint nutts, light caramel. Extra note. Needs to rest for a good while because ABV integration isn't that good.

Directly from the bottle very alcoholic on the nose, but that mostly fades quickly. Then come caramel, red fruits, and a hint of wine. In the mouth like almost every sweetened rum: sweet with a correspondingly velvety mouthfeel, yet compared to some other "nerd rum" quite alcoholic for 40%. Also some fruit and slightly nutty coffee. Not bad, but I wouldn't know why I should buy it.

A very sweet aroma, fruity with berries, wine, very pleasant. The body is light, a pleasant sweetness in taste. The aftertaste is medium length and slightly alcoholic.
