Wohl einer der Gründe für den Ruf des spanischen Rumstils: Bisschen Frucht, bisschen Holz und sonst einfach nur süß… Im Abgang ist ne ganz spannende Note zwischen Kaffee und Lakritz, abgesehen davon aber nicht mein Fall.

The first stroke is the sugar, next the alcohol and a bit of spices, and then that it has been watered down to 40%. To me or seems to have been watered too much and then some sugar and molasses has been added, maybe even a bit of spice. Clearly a good ground product that has been stretched too much for connoisseurs. Obviously made for those with taste for sweeter rum or for using dark rum in good drinks. For that however it is quite awesome and a very good product, so my rating of 5.5 only reflects that it for me is a Tuesday rum (everyday rum), for drinks and in deserts, but a very worthy product.

Rhum plutôt agréable à boire. A conseiller pour un débutant qui souhaite commencer par des rhums plutôt sucrés sur des aromes de caramel. C'est bon mais on l'oublie une fois avalé. Aucune longueur en bouche. Le rapport qualité/prix est très correct.

Der Rum hat wenig zu bieten. Nase dünn, Gaumen ebenfalls recht dünn. Der Geschmack erinnerte mich an salziges Lakritz mit alkoholischer Schärfe. 😳

Ein nur leicht süßer Geruch, etwas nach Sherry, etwas Klebstoff, leicht alkoholisch brennend aber nicht unangenehm. Der erste Geschmack ist leicht bitter und würzig, dann kommt die Süße zum Vorschein. Diese hält auch im Abgang noch an.

Going from pure memory as I tried this one at least 3 years ago. Raisins, vanilla, bit of wood and pretty lovely sweetness although the taste was a bit mild kind of diluted. The Patridom XO is very similar but heavier on the flavor and does not feel diluted.

Man wird von einem sehr dezenten Duft nach Früchten und Holz begrüßt. Allerdings ist dieser Duft eher dünn und kaum wahrnehmbar. Am Gaumen kommt zu den Früchten noch Vanille und Schokolade hinzu. Insgesamt ein guter Rum aber nicht Außergewöhnliches.
