Lovely rhum, learned to rub it into gums to feel the flavour. Highly recommended and one of the best examples for sugarcane flavours I know of. Great stuff!

Un rhum brut de colonne intense mais qui fait preuve de beaucoup de délicatesse. Le nez est extrêmement floral et végétal, la canne à sucre, le foin, l’herbe et l’olive sont très présents. Quelques notes fruitées apparaissent aussi succinctement. En revanche, l’attaque en bouche est plus diversifiée, plus fruitée (fruits exotiques et agrumes) et très fraîche, avec des notes d’eucalyptus, de menthol et de basilic. On reste sur un profil très fin mais très intense en terme de goût, très sec mais très rond et avec beaucoup de fraîcheur. La finale, très longue, revient vers le côté floral, végétal, terreux et herbacé, laissant une drôle de sensation de chaud dans la gorge mais beaucoup de fraîcheur en bouche. Un rhum très clivant mais remarquable de finesse pour son degré.

Tout ce qu’il faut pour concurrencer le genesis et avec moins d’alcool ressenti (mais pas de note de poivre, on reste pur canne végétale) En resume, mes notes de degutation : Au nez : Herbe, Végétal, Canne à sucre, Intense, Zeste de citron En bouche : Herbe, Canne à sucre, Intense, Végétal, Frais, Équilibré La finale plutot orientee vers : Chaud, Herbe, Végétal, Canne à sucre
