This is the first rum I’ve ever tasted in the beginning of the 1970’s. It was brought to Sweden in big tanks from the Caribbean by the Swedish Alcoholic Monopoly Company, Systembolaget, that thereafter bottled it and sold it. This started up around 1930 and they stopped selling it around 1980 or maybe relabeled it. It was Cuban style that was hot and raw with hints of arrack and a certain sweetness. Most people used as as the alcoholic part in their Cuba Libre.
