Initial smell is mostly caramel with a little oak and leather. Maybe light raisin or prune. Pours orange amber. The mouth flavour really takes off from a relatively pedestrian smell. Oak takes a lot bigger bite, and there's definitely some burn here. Some apricot and pepper on the mouth, maybe even turmeric. Long finish--the oak, especially, sticks around. I get more Guyana than Jamaica here, but there's a little funk. Had a glass at The Square.

I bought this just to try this particular style of rum.im not a fan.i cant give it at a high score cause this is based off my personal taste and i just didnt find it pleasant to drink.
