Probably the best cocktail 151 on the market. A legendary bottling and essential to get the right expression in many famous tiki drinks. Difficult to find for Europeans unfortunately, distribution really should be extended beyond the US.

#5143 15.03.2025 Running a few samples at home. Nose Medium intense, wood, light roasted, light molasses, dried fruit, light anise, light chocolate, faint caramel. Palate Warm, medium dry, round, wood, light roasted, light pineapple, anise, light chocolate, light cinnamon, light caramel. Finish Long and warm, medium dry, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light anise, light caramel, faint grass. Empty glass Dried fruit, light caramel, chocolate, spice, light citrus. Needs to rest for a while to really open up and it did pretty well in a cola.

Wow crazy stuff, but still quite drinkable despite the high ABV. But Guyana definitely comes through, it's also a very dark and roasted rum, especially chocolate is recognizable here. Better than expected.

Drink it and wow it tastes like a thick rum treacle which is truly awesome and has loads of funk flavours . A Demerara delight, the only downside is that it's very rarely available in the UK , I can imagine in a cocktail it's a knockout .
