Quite a sharp nose for just under 39%. Many classic Barbados fruit notes, but also a good portion of medicinal and tarry notes. Towards the back quite schnapps-like, a hint of banana. On the mouth surprisingly sweet, countered by quite brandy-like alcohol. It warms but not badly. Dried fruits, banana, a hint of chocolate. Not a great neat sip, but fun in a Mai Tai because it stands out with the brandy character - if you're into that.

This rum is watered down to 38% and tastes according to that. Like drinking water with a big sugar and some artificial tastes. How much sugar??
