The nose is not typical Agricole, fruity indeed but not so lush. The taste is rather somewhat bitter with an alcoholic sharpness. The finish is rather short. The rum is overall too thin for me, borderline. Addendum: The rum needs a lot of time in the glass, at least 45 minutes.

Balanced Agricole on the edge of too much dilution - the 42% is probably close to the maximum that the aged distillate could tolerate in additional water. But it remains a solid to good picture.

Very good rum - 4 years of aging that feel like more even though you still sense some youth. Taste of fruits, very nice woody notes! Thanks to my friend for this lovely gift... He will recognize himself ;)
