Really nice Guyana. Changes by the minute, so be sure to give it a little time. Initially dominated by lots of green apple with light tea notes. Compared to The Rum Cask, however, a little more barrel influence due to the slightly longer storage. All in all, not really my style, hence the downgrade. The alcohol is also a little sharp-edged. I can actually recommend a few teaspoons of water here.

11.06.2021 A nice evening with some friends at the beach bringing some nice rums. Notes Light in colour. Nose Fresh, faint wood, honey, floral, light citrus, light mint, prunes. Palate Spicy, balanced, light wood, faint smoky, light ginger, light olive, faint mint, licorice, light salt. Finish Medium long, light wood, herbs, licorice, light mint, dried fruit.
