Made for people already comfortable with overproof agricole blanc: this 73.4% La Favorite is all raw sugarcane, lime, and green vegetal notes, with a warm, oily palate and black pepper. Rested, it turns surprisingly fruity with a natural sweetness that softens the heat. A couple of tasters catch an earthy, almost compost-like note they didn't love. The nose gives more pleasure than the fiery mouth.

#4065 Looking at the ABV you usually prepare yourself for a kick or bite. With this rum you get a surprise because once rested it's deceptively fruity and has natural sweetness to it. Well balanced and great ABV integration once rested. Oily and warm palate and very nice curtains. The empty glass is very nice and fruity with some metallic notes.

Brutal punch, alcohol integration is even relatively well done but could be better. Exciting are here especially the whole ester notes and how sweetly comes across here. Wicked stuff but even in the ti Punch is ne track too powerful, here's definitely better

Gourmet nose and not aggressive despite the 73.4% on the meter! Of course, you find sugar cane. But also vegetal notes and lime. On the palate, it's rum, real, intense. Cane exploding in the mouth. It stings the palate all with vegetal and citrus notes. It doesn't leave you indifferent. You love it but you only dip your lips very gently given the big guy! The nose brings more pleasure than the palate for this gem from La Favorite. Slight preference for the Longueteau Genesis in B2C

Ultra-vegetal, earthy nose of fermented cane and truffles. On the palate, the cane is sweeter, the vegetal is still very present and peppery notes appear. Long finish on the same notes. It's good, but far from being one of the best BDCs, and even among this distillery's whites there are far better ones.

Very fruity first born, sugar cane, lemon, green, a bit of metallic gunflint. On the palate, it's very warm and burning, expected for a column still brut. There's a bit of spiciness with black pepper and red fruit notes. Salivating well, it lets itself be appreciated. The finish is rather long, earthy, almost animal. Beautiful product. But I wouldn't drink it every day.
