Nose: very subtle and reserved. Most noticeable are vanilla and nutty aromas, a bit of fruit can also be detected. Palate: very spicy and woody at first, then the alcohol comes through. Plant and fruity aromas in the background without becoming concrete. Finish: spicy, woody and slightly honeyed. Conclusion: Not a very complex Agricole with a very subtle nose. Spice and wood dominate, could be more.

New tasting notes. The cane is definitely there among the fruits, apricots, and wood. I really enjoyed it more than back then! Old notes: Quite nice with candied fruit, goes well with light cigars! In summary, my tasting notes: Nose: Vanilla, orange zest Palate: Coconut, apricot We want more after all!

Overall a bit too restrained. Longueteau wins for me either as a very fresh, untamed distillate or after a few years of aging. Here we are in the middle ground both in terms of age and strength, which will surely find fans but seems too unremarkable to me.
