Quite thick caramel-coffee aroma with dried fruit and pepper. It reminds me of Guyanese production. A lot of caramel in the taste and it's quite sweet for me. It has potential, but it just lacks some oomph, some extra layer. Edit: downward correction for too much sweetness Edit2 downward correction again after 24DoR sample

I tried this rum at a local bar… Nose: Sweet Mound: Rounder, not so sweet, but, soft rum. Finish: Short, alcoholic I didn’t like it much, because it’s not the kind of rum I’ used to drink. I can recommend it to beginners.

I personally like it very much, I wouldn't have thought so. A nice vanilla and caramel note on the nose and palate. I can also taste a hint of chocolate. Not too sweet, has the perfect sweetness. Delicious.

Revisiting after having the last drops in the 1st of 2 bottles that I have. It is a nice sipping rum but I have to take some points down. Nothing dramatic though. This is a matured version which sits 10 years in barrels made of white american oak. I have a sample of a ,,base,, naga java reserve that I will compare with this one. Smell of green apples and wood, lots of wood/oak which gave this rum it's sweetness. Overall a nice rum for neat sipping although it is shame that the finish is not very long, its rather short.

Ein netter Tropfen! Damit ist es aber auch weitestgehend gesagt. Holzig und etwas floral, vielleicht Kokos an der Nase. Am Gaumen nichts das besonders heraussticht. Allerdings ein überraschend langer Abgang!

Finde diesen Rum ein wenig zu süß. Man erkennt hier auch deutliche Vanille Noten..im Geschmack erkenne ich meiner Meinung auch etwas Holz. Insgesamt kann ich sagen das dieser Rum in Ordnung ist, aber ich würde ihn mir nicht kaufen

Nez très surprenant et délicat. Assez parfumé: café, vanille suivi de fruits frais genre pomme, agrumes en fond. J'aime beaucoup ce nez, ca change même si ça reste un nez léger. En bouche c'est également très delicat. J'avais été moins emballé par d'autres versions mais celui là j'y reviendrai avec plaisir même si c'est quand même un rhum qui manque un peu de puissance mais il en faut pour tous les palets.
