I tried this rum at a local bar… Nose: Sweet Mound: Rounder, not so sweet, but, soft rum. Finish: Short, alcoholic I didn’t like it much, because it’s not the kind of rum I’ used to drink. I can recommend it to beginners.

Revisiting after having the last drops in the 1st of 2 bottles that I have. It is a nice sipping rum but I have to take some points down. Nothing dramatic though. This is a matured version which sits 10 years in barrels made of white american oak. I have a sample of a ,,base,, naga java reserve that I will compare with this one. Smell of green apples and wood, lots of wood/oak which gave this rum it's sweetness. Overall a nice rum for neat sipping although it is shame that the finish is not very long, its rather short.

I personally like it very much, I wouldn't have thought so. A nice vanilla and caramel note on the nose and palate. I can also taste a hint of chocolate. Not too sweet, has the perfect sweetness. Delicious.

Quite thick caramel-coffee aroma with dried fruit and pepper. It reminds me of Guyanese production. A lot of caramel in the taste and it's quite sweet for me. Produit en Thaïlande mais élevé en Indonésie, ce rhum exotique se veut riche et concentré. Le nez dévoile une touche de colle plutôt séduisante mais vite rattrapée par le sucre brun, le caramel, la vanille et le café. Des notes plus sombres sur le bois, le tabac et les fruits secs se dessinent également. C’est un nez doux mais assez lourd et voluptueux. La bouche est du même accabit avec cette même lourdeur aromatique sur les notes sombres et sucrées : vanille, piment, café, chocolat et caramel s’accumulent avec le bois, le tabac et les fruits secs. Les épices soutiennent le profil en trame de fond. On a un rhum dense mais pas très profond en bouche. L’alcool est décemment intégré, on ressent tout de même quelques effluves. La finale n’est pas des plus longues, ni des plus originales avec ce même schéma sur le café, le tabac, le bois, la vanille, les fruits secs et le caramel. Elle est toutefois un peu plus sèche et prononcée sur le café. Ce n’est sûrement pas le rhum des grands soirs, mais ce Naga, qui se veut doux et abordable, permettra à des débutants d’appréhender de nouveaux horizons sans être trop bousculés.

Ein netter Tropfen! Damit ist es aber auch weitestgehend gesagt. Holzig und etwas floral, vielleicht Kokos an der Nase. Am Gaumen nichts das besonders heraussticht. Allerdings ein überraschend langer Abgang!

Fruchtessig mit etwas Alkohol in der Nase, insgesamt eher zurückhaltend. Im Mund Holz mit Nuss, im Abgang Mittel, Holz bleibt mit Anklängen von Lösungsmitteln.

Finde diesen Rum ein wenig zu süß. Man erkennt hier auch deutliche Vanille Noten..im Geschmack erkenne ich meiner Meinung auch etwas Holz. Insgesamt kann ich sagen das dieser Rum in Ordnung ist, aber ich würde ihn mir nicht kaufen

Nez très surprenant et délicat. Assez parfumé: café, vanille suivi de fruits frais genre pomme, agrumes en fond. J'aime beaucoup ce nez, ca change même si ça reste un nez léger. En bouche c'est également très delicat. J'avais été moins emballé par d'autres versions mais celui là j'y reviendrai avec plaisir même si c'est quand même un rhum qui manque un peu de puissance mais il en faut pour tous les palets.

Der Naga Siam Edition ist ein guter Rum aber nichts besonderes bzw. nichts was raussticht. Der Geruch ist leicht Holzig und Karamellig. Süße Noten aber auch leichte Alkoholischen Anklänge. Der Geschmack ist schon etwas Komplexer. Karamell, Vanillie und Holz sind die Primären Geschmacks Noten aber leichte Noten von Tabak sind dennoch zu erkennen. Dennoch fehlt im etwas was ihm Einzigartigkeit verleiht.

Pas mal pas mal. Au nez c'est boisé et un petit côté fruité. Très très légèrement alcooleux. En bouche, pfiouuu, c'est doux, c'est rond, boisé, massepain en milieu de bouche et la final est clairement très courte sur le fût. Au final c'est pas trop mal.

Sample no.10 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2022. Positively surprised by this Indonesian rum. Sweet and fruity nose but also a bit alcoholic and maybe apple? Taste is very fruity and clear barrel in the end. Warm and short aftertaste.
