I imagine a fruity LowEster profile on the nose. Nice flavor profile, slightly acidic. Slightly peppery finish

Another rum in the low price range, where you get a lot for your money. The nose is fresh and flowery with dried fruit, vanilla and peppers. The palate is warm and peppery with flowers, honey and licorice as well as nice smoky touch. The finish is medium long and warm with licorice and a touch of smoke.

A very nice rum, if not complete in any dimension. I don’t know where it’s from and it doesn’t stand out as a distillery I would immediately recognize — whether that’s true for others, I don’t know. It has some great fruity and barrel-y notes and is a very enjoyable sipper, albeit with some ethanol heat that hasn’t been fullly incorporated.
