Well, one of those spiced rums that are so artificial and intense that it's hard to classify the flavors. Nothing on its own, of course, but not so great with cola either, as sweet meets already sweet. But you have to praise it for its 41.5%! xD

6,5:On the nose, it smells pleasantly of wood, freshly cut orange peel, raisins and I also notice a pinch of cinnamon. 6,5:On the palate, the Remedy Spiced rum shows its pleasantly mild side and surprises me with an entertaining spiciness, followed by a typical note of a rum matured in an ex-bourbon barrel. With the next sip we notice the spicy sweetness of fresh oranges and it tastes good of caramel and cinnamon, a very light note of soft licorice, which then changes into a completely different flavor with milk chocolate. 6,2:The finish is medium long and is accompanied by spiciness of pepper and ends with a sweet note of toffee on the palate. Yes, it can be mixed, but it is also good just for sipping. Forget the price-around 20 €..

A very sweet spiced rum with cinnamon, orange, and vanilla notes on the nose. On the palate, tropical fruits like banana and peach dominate. It's not for me neat, but it's okay as a mixer with cola. All in all, it's not a bad rum, especially considering the low price. However, I find it too sweet and a bit too artificial.

Again, it doesn't work at all neat. With cola and ice on hot days ok, but there are also better things to mix it with. it was just too artificial for me. Edit: I'll have to correct all my old sins from the past downwards to create a clear line.

Not a real rum but a classic spiced rum. We had it in a Dark&Storm(y) cocktail and it really fits well in there. However, it also works neat, unlike the usual Captain Morgan or Havana 3. I didn't expect that. I'm positively surprised.

For a free sample, pretty OK, although 4/5cl probably won't end up in my glass. In the end, it's definitely better than the typical supermarket spiced rums, but for a real rum drinker, it's just a "little liqueur".

Intense scent of coconut water / coconut flesh. However, it already seems slightly artificial. Upon tasting again, it seems to me like a mix of coconut water and Christmas children's punch / cherry juice. After standing for a short time, the smell changes to intense cinnamon and Christmas pastries as well as orange. Taste-wise sweet and very artificial coconut note (Bounty), intense cinnamon note and orange. The alcohol is noticeable and not particularly well integrated. Finish bitter. Better than the A.H. Riise in the same price range that I've had so far, as it's not as brutally sweet but still not really my thing.

Were very positively surprised, rum flavor and orange cinnamon, plus various aromas in the background, balanced and smooth and you can drink it well neat. The empty glass then smells like Christmas cookies. Cool stuff

Why?! Smells like bagged peach iced tea and gummy bananas and tastes like liquid baking flavor and licorice water. Also strangely alcoholic for a spiced rum... no way.

Super sweet, slightly artificial and overall somehow wrong. This liqueur spirit or whatever it actually is, I unfortunately cannot recommend. In general, I'm not a fan of such faked rums. Either you produce a classic rum or you create a liqueur that can be both classic and totally exotic. Everything in between I consider unnecessary. Yes, it is drinkable. But that's all.

So the spiced rum is pretty sweet. That's probably undisputed. But I have to say, compared to, for example, Tres Paises or 327 XO, I don't find this Remedy overly aromatic. It is a bit spritzy, but totally fine for the price. By the way, I sip it neat.
