Classic old Demerara profile, dried plum meets wood, leather and tobacco. A little charred and therefore scratchy, but if you like the heavy, complex aromas of old Guyana bottlings, you'll be right at home here. Great profile, it lacks a little expressiveness in direct comparison with other great Demeraras of the decade

Classic old Demerara with lots of dark wood, dried fruit and a hint of tobacco. The 24 years of ageing are noticeable, bringing depth and maturity. Not a monster in terms of intensity, but a very nice representative of this style. Anyone who likes this rather dry, leathery style will definitely be happy here.

Could well be a 74. Nice plums on the nose, quite a lot of burnt notes on the palate, wood, caramel, little sweetness. Unfortunately a little thin. I still have to compare it with other 74s.

Schönes, klassisches Demerara-Profil. Für meinen Geschmack jedoch bereits etwas zu bitter, der niedrige ABV hilft auch nicht. Für den Preis gibt es viiiiiiele deutlich bessere Abfüllungen.

Für mich auf jeden Fall schon mal eine 9+. Die rostigen Noten sind sehr angenehm kombiniert. Holz, Leder, einige Früchte, alles etwas rauchig. Eine leichte Pflaumen Süße mildert alles etwas ab und gibt Ihm einen runden Eindruck. Schade dass er nur 46% hat, dadurch ist der Abgang etwas kürzer als erwartet.

Decent Demerara rum, combination of wood, roasted nuts, plums, tobacco and caffee. Little bit flat, less depth, higher ABV would help but overall excellent rum
