By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 280,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

Another great one and I wonder how they got the orange in the mix from nose to finish. A wonderful rum in my mind and very affordable. Lightly fruity with chocolate, vanilla and tobacco well balanced with the oak. Best after resting for 15-20 minutes after which it releases all its flavours.
The nose leaves something to be desired - it doesn't offer itself to us so easily, but it's rather fruity and pleasant. Jamaican markers like glue, solvents, spices and applesauce are present, but less extravagant and more gentle. An orange-oriented profile also emerges, and I was particularly attracted-intrigued-by notes of red fruit, but especially violet! The first attack on the palate is explosive; I wasn't expecting it from the nose, but that's logical when you've got 65.4% under the hood! But the whole thing rounds out very quickly, giving way to the fruitiness of the nose (apple and orange) and soft woodiness. The finish is not bad, with a strong tendency towards spices, particularly chili pepper. This is rounded out by sweeter notes (caramel, vanilla, milk chocolate). The final rum is rather expressive but not too explosive, and perfectly balanced. Once again, I find this Belize nice, and I'm rarely disappointed by this little-publicized destination.
