Very round, easy drinking rum, but despite the drinking strength does not lack complexity. The spicy-fresh WP profile is well complemented by the dried fruit. Successful experiment.

18.02.2023 Relaxing at home with some samples. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, light apple, faint floral, light wine, light berries, faint caramel. Palate Light, round, light wood, light cherry, faint caramel, light apple, light Madeira, light sweet, faint floral. Finish Medium long, round, light wood, faint smoke, light apple, spice, light cherry, spice.

The nose is the best thing about this rum. On the palate I find it unbalanced, too spicy and sharp despite only 45%. However, the finish is a little better because it has intense vanilla, toffee and banana.

Solid fruity WP, on the nose at least. Nose is very promising, very juicy. I especially like (my favourite in any rum) the apple notes. But the taste just can't keep up although the fruit is there....

Die Nase fruchtig (!), ein wahrer Obstsalat, beim Probieren Fahrerwechsel und die würzigen Noten rund um das Fass und Pfeffer setzen sich ans Steuer. Hinten raus kommt der grüne Apfel, den man zwar gerochen aber nach dem sip fast vergessen hatte, auf einmal wieder zurück. Wirklich gut, dieser Rum.

The nose promises here clearly more than the rum can offer on the palate. There I find him on a high level. Something raspberry syrup I perceive. Very broad fruity aroma profile. Great. Not much left of it on the palate, unfortunately. It seems but strongly diluted and little coherent.
