Very pleasant discovery this rum from a distillery I didn't know. I could have thought it was an agricole since the citrus dominates so much. Nice freshness, a pronounced herbal note, beautiful acidity. Aromas are quite present despite the low ABV. Very nice.

Made by a distillery that used to make Bacardi too. Epris is half molasses/cane juice or sometimes one of those (?). It leans towards an Agricolesque style: Grassy, fresh apples, a bit like Calvados. Really neat and crisp stuff. Very spirit driven. This particular one needs some time in the glass to open up.

I was surprised by this rum. It was really dry, not strong and delicious. Apple and wood, that a beatiful combination. Really recommended.
