Sweet, woody and fruity from nose to finish. The balance is perfect and I still have 2 backup bottles in the back of my shelf :-)

On the nose honey, red fruits, plums, wood, vanilla. On the palate, the same notes perceived on the nose are found, with added floral and slightly spicy/toasted notes. The finish is long and full-bodied, with a slightly earthy/musty aftertaste. I expected a more marked woodiness like in 1999, and less plums. However, it has perfect roundness and a unique overall aroma. I tried mixing it with a few drops of Montebello1948 and the score rises a few points, thanks to the smoky notes, between 94-95.
