Review by MarcT
I've bought this Rum due to a blog entry that made me curious some 2 years ago, but i dont remember who it was, possibly thefatrumpirate. I was underwhelmed at first, it tastes quite muted and quite mainstream and to the liking of the typical american Bourbon or Whisky fan. It has its similarities there. It took quite some time for me to find the Rum DNA, and lots of oxidation, but the second half of the bottle was a nice drink, with all that makes a good rum. Unfortunately the nose still did not inspire me, but i appreciated the taste of fruit and caramel that became more dominant than the malt note at that point.
