Positive surprise from Chamarel - clear sweetness of vanilla sugar, nougat and ripe bananas, plus nice wood influence and some pepper and latte. Would have actually deserved much more attention...Insider tip!

Wow, this drink has a strong barrel influence. For me, from the nose to the finish, there is a somewhat musty gunpowder aroma running through the rum. Along with fruits, mostly red, and wood. Somehow it's tasty, the gunpowder note is depending on mood either a curse or a blessing.
