Surprisingly sweet for a WIRD, the classic profile is almost overlaid by vanilla sweetness and subtle roasted aromas from the oak barrel. Overall, the oak influence is a tad too dominant for me. An interesting release, but overall quite far removed from the great Rockleys.

Rockley Tasting 1986/87/2000 The weakest representative in the lower ABV flight. Still a very nice WIRD.

Not too bad but watered down too much in my mind. Light wood and fruits with some medicinal notes. The empty glass revealed very light nuts and chocolate.

Alcohol for 46% quite present and piercing and taste-wise a bit too thin and too smoky for me...
