Ein fruchtiges Aroma, etwas Vanille, leicht alkoholisch. Der Geschmack ist fruchtig, hat eine relativ hohe Süße, im Abgang etwas brennend und wärmend.

Damn! Great deal! Light and smooth but a lot of flavoures to taste. Even the alkohol is over average the taste is not "pure alkohol". However great rum!

This rum immediately reminds me of honey with fruit on the nose and especially because of the grapey notes of a wine finish (Sauternes or Sherry). Vanilla and chocolate also present. In the mouth sweet honey, spices and alcoholic spiciness. Unfortunately, that's about it, as the whole mouthfeel including the finish is rather thin. The wine is always present.

Viel Rotwein und viel Holz. Der Alkohol ist einigermaßen gut eingebunden. Er ist am Ende ein wenig eintönig, weil der Rotwein und das Holz zu arg dominieren. Aber als Daily Sipper passt er schon :-)

Der Rotwein kommt gut durch. Fruchtig, süß, würzig, gefällig. Bleibt aber recht alkoholisch. Im 2. Tasting musste ich ihn jetzt im Vergleich zu anderen verkosteten Rums um einige Punkte nach unten setzten.

da hatte ich mir etwas mehr von erhofft. das Rotwein Finish ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu dominant, dazu ist er mir etwas zu süß und einfach überhaupt nicht komplex und etwas dünn insgesamt. dazu etwas alkoholisch scharf an der Nase... klar für den Preis kann man echt nicht meckern und lecker, sowie smooth zum trinken nebenher ist er. aber für eine Fassstärke ist er mir persönlich etwas zu schnell weg und zu langweilig... allerdings für Einsteiger ein sehr schöner single cask der einen nicht direkt überfordert. da bleib ich lieber beim alten SCC 2020.

Lässt sich gut trinken…das wars aber dann auch schon…hab ein wenig mehr erhofft…kurzer Abgang. PLV ist aber am Ende gut und man sollte immer bedenken, dass dieser Rum einem Einstieg in Fassstärke bieten soll…
