23.02.2024 Enjoying some samples at home while relaxing. Colour Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, light medicinal, light citrus, spice, light floral. Palate Round, light wood, faint smoke, fruits, light medicinal, light honey, dried fruit, light floral, medium dry. Finish Medium to long, round, light wood, faint smoke, medium dry, fruits, light citrus, light floral, faint iodine.

Unusual 1986 West Indies representative - hardly any honey, but alongside tropical fruits and spice aromas there is a slight floral-perfumed sweetness which, in my opinion, is quite unique in the Rockley universe. For me overall not a top performer, regardless of Rockley associations.

Rockley Tasting 1986/87/2000 No.3 after the two Cadenheads 15y and 18y due to its 11y somewhat less complex.
