Für mich ist das gerade so noch trinkbar, auch wenn ich Kokosnuss und Vanille eigentlich sehr gerne mag. Hier wirkt das allerdings irgendwie übertrieben, künstlich und ist insgesamt mir viel zu süß. Im Mund kommt außerdem eine meines Erachtens nicht gerade passende Note von Koriandergrün ins Spiel, als wäre auch etwas Agricole reingemischt. Freunde von gezuckerten Rums könnte hieran zwar durchaus Gefallen finden, ich bekomme davon höchstens Zahnschmerzen.

The smell is delicious, not complex but very pleasing. Coconut, pineapple, some banana and lots of toffee and syrup. Spices, wood rather weak. In the mouth the smell continues with many sweet and fruity notes. Still a warm feeling. Could be a sweetened mix of low-ester Jamaica, Barbados and Dom Rep?!

Very complex but also artificial-tasting rum. From start to finish lots of coconut and sweetness. On the nose some cream toffee, on the palate caramel, vanilla and some banana. Compared to similar releases this one stands out a bit positively.

This could also be a coconut liqueur. There's almost nothing else noticeable on the nose. On the palate, other fruits come through. Since it's also quite sweet and tastes enormously like coconut, I assume this is more of a spiced rum.

Helle gelbe Farbe. Im Geruch dominiert Kokos gefolgt von Vanille. Der Geschmack dann auch direkt die Kokosnuss mit einer gewissen süße dazu. Sehr mild, weich und gefällig. Ohne große Komplexität.

Original impressions from 2017 rum calendar. Nose: **** Taste: **** Overall: **** ”20% Caribbean. Kokos och vanilj.” Coconut, dried fruits and vanilla on the nose. Palate is sweet with coconut and fruity notes. Very mild and nice sipper.

This is for bad weather. All the dry-drinkers will probably turn up their noses. But the faction that likes an uncomplicated coconut rum will be happy. This is my first choice for rum newbies in the Friends and Family group - and everyone has had their fun with it so far.
