I bought two on my holiday last year, one I finished during the stay, one I brought home with me. It's been some time since I've had this one so I will update my review once I opened my bottle. As far as I remembered it's a very smooth and sweet rum, excellent value for money especially if you find a bottle on the canaries themselves.

8,2:On the nose, there could be found full and intense aromas of fresh sugar cane, mild spices, caramel and vanilla weaven with toasted oak, volcanique, floral notes(Canary islands are volcanos) linger underneath.Coffee/cocoa , banana, tropical fruits burst out in the end. 8:On the palate it is mouth-filling and intense with strong spicy notes, slightly fruity with hints of wild behind it with notes of sugar cane, honey and some vanilla intertwined with orange peel and peaches and of course volcanique notes that burst out secondly .It is tasty and very balanced, soft and powerful at the same time. Oak is completed by caramel and a hint of smoke that lingers on. Exceptionally harmonious rum inspite of the great complexity of aromas. 8:The finish is long and sweet, syrupy like with some woodiness, vanilla, honey and sugar cane juice, banana completes the finish..

Orange with honey through and through. Smell is rather restrained, but the mouthfeel is more intense. If you get your hands on this rum in Spain (Canary Islands), you get a good rum at a reasonable price. In my opinion, the best rum of the Arehucas distillery.

This is a rum in the cheaper end of the spectrum but it still does pretty well. A sweet rum and maybe for many rumnerds out there too sweet. The balance of sweetness, spices and proof is pretty good. Slightly better than the 12 year old but also a tad sweeter. A good rum for beginners i think.

In my opinion, this rum also tastes very fruity. Too fruity again at first, but that fades with time. I found this rum very appealing for a 40% rum. You can make it.

Good with manchegochees and some good jam.

After the bottlings at the lower end of the Arehucas range were very disappointing, this one is a positive surprise. It clearly goes in the direction of an agricole, but not too intense, which I like. Surprisingly intense for its 40%.

One of a few samples, from a night in 2022 with good company. Quality to price, I think this one is okay. It gave of sweetness in the nose, and I found notes of toffee, fruit and chocolate. The aftertaste was also sweet

A pretty decent rum for the price that you can get it in Spain (25€). Very rounded and balanced flavour, it is not overly sweet, but it's a tiny sweeter than Id prefer . The aroma and flavours remind me in a way of Zacapa 23, but a less sweet and at the finish has the aftertaste of an agricole rum. Solid rum overall, it just lacks a bit of power and depth to be an great one.
