Ripe pear leads here — Conference pear, honey and fresh sugar cane, with baking chocolate, walnut and gentle spice underneath. It's an agricole with a softer, more pastry-like side than most, rounded out by cask time. Several tasters compared the fruit to Beenleigh. A lovely pour, though a few felt it could use more power to really finish long.

With a medium to long finish this is a very nice rum. Very fruity and rounded taste wit spices. I like the smoky oak on the palate with chocolate. This one was wonderful on the nose this morning :-)

Tasting the complete Rhum Rhum Libération lineup in 10x2cl. 👃 Nice nose, I prefer it to the reduced 2010 and 2012. Fresh sugar cane, flower honey, stalk, vegetal, dry hay, light licorice. Orchard fruits just ripe (conference pear, white peach, apricot) and alcoholic like a fruit brandy. Then, light vanilla, soft spices, pastry chocolate. 😋 More barrel aspects, frank vanilla, nuts, chocolate, spices, tannins. Fruits in the background, pear, citrus. Still vegetal, sugar cane, stalk. ⛳ Herbal, green finish, flower honey, Swiss herbal candy, alcohol-soaked raisins, soft spices.

26/06/2026: Road Rummers Supertasting @ TastToe. I had high expectations, but was a bit disappointed at first. The fruity, pear notes reminded me a bit of Beenleigh. I would love to taste the Version Integrale as well. We tasted this one first in a great line-up, so this is a bit unfortunate for the score. When retasting this in a vacuum, without direct comparison, it might score higher to be honest.

Bottle The diluted edition to 45 in my opinion is excellent! This is such a complex rum. Light. Fruity. Great fun. Really a masterpiece of work. A very nice combination of light and delicate fruits, oranges, chocolate and something green and lively behind all these impressions.

Very good Guadeloupean year with lots of roundness, honey, pear, surely brought by the finish in a Sauternes grand cru classé Y barrel. On the palate, a beautiful indulgence, my raisins, candied with honey nuts.
