Vacation South America November 2024. Trying some rums in Paraguay. The best of the tour so far and at 25 euros a bottle also more expensive than all the others combined. ;-) Nose and palate at first impression dark chocolate and caramel. On the nose still citrus fruits, on the palate orange. Mixed with cola, you only taste the orange then.

Surprisingly pronounced, even candied orange on the nose! The palate stays on citrus fruits and orange, reminding me of Cointreau and Pirat rum! Very short, sweet finish

Found and grabbed in a supermarket in Paraguay, stands out from all the cheap swill here and is also reasonably drinkable. The orange flavor comes through very clearly. Quite drinkable as a Cuba Libre with cola.
