The bottle has been opened for some time, but I poured myself a sample for a rainy day. The nose is classic FS, maybe slightly gentler. On the palate, a nice combination of pralines, chocolate, kola nut, dried fruit, and coffee. Nothing extraordinary otherwise, but still an honest rum.

Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.

#5290 01.05.2025 Running some samples while watching the TV Series "Reacher". Nose Fresh, light wood, light caramel, light coconut, light chocolate, light orange, dried fruit. Palate Light wood, light oily, fruits, light pineapple, faint smoke, naturally sweet, spice, light coconut, light chocolate. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light orange, light raisin, light chocolate, spice. Empty glass Chocolate, vanille, light orange, light caramel, light coconut.

In the aroma caramel, cherries, and a hint of caramelized cookie. On the palate, it's fresh and fruity, complemented by woody tones. Although it has a higher ABV, it's perfectly integrated and beautifully underlined by a longer warming finish.

Typical woody character of Foursquare in the taste, in the nose I smell cherries, like a bit of port... for a moment I thought I was drinking 2009. Slightly higher % than I'm used to, but tasted good.
