Vanilla, honey and caramel lead here, with roasted banana and a hint of milk chocolate underneath and an oily, medium finish. It's a sweetened Barbados rum (members reckon a Foursquare base) that most call a "very good starter rum." Easy and round, but low on complexity and clearly sugared — a couple of tasters find it a touch artificial.

A sweet aroma, mildly alcoholic and sharp, slight hints of fruit. A pleasantly sweet taste, slightly oily in the mouth, lightly fruity, some honey. The finish is gentle and medium length, quite sweet.

Very strange mix of milk chocolate, dull fruit and a rancid note. Sample is old but was not opened. On the palate way too sweet, vanilla and still alcohol sharp. Rumored to be a Foursquare, but I've never experienced it so bad and then worsened.

This is a rum in the cheaper end of the spectrum. Also a sweet rum, not to sweet and probably a very good starter rum. The nose comes off sweet from honey and molasses and descends into primarily vanilla with a hint of chocolate. The palate is sweet with some roasted banana, vanilla and cherry. There is a bit of creaminess to it. The finish is medium long and oily, sweet and vanilla dominates.

Pleasant to drink, typically sweetened beginner rum. Still very boring on the nose, it offers a bit more profile on the palate due to the sugar. Quite nice for in-between or as a companion to beer.

Revisiting after more than a year. Initial score 82 downgraded to 75. Overall still very pleasant rum eventhough its sweetened foursquare. Predominant is vanilla with milk chocolate, also a fudge or polish caramel candies called krowka in the taste and nose provides some hints of it too. Overall I think the people who seek sweet rums will love this one. I am a weirdo I like both sweet rums, but also the other side of spectrum such as ester rums such as hampden or monstrosities like paranubes. Revisiting: Direct comparison with 18 Solera from AM. This one is better, more flavourful, but also much sweeter. It does not feel artificial that much but lets say it is overly sweet so I am pulling few points down. Otherwise, really good one.

A mild beginner rum. Caramel, honey, vanilla on the nose. On the palate chocolate and banana. Not an explosion of flavor and little complexity but still a solid sweet with a decent price/performance ratio.

Reminds me a bit of the Pusser's Blue Label, also Navy Style with dried fruits, plum, raisin, cocoa, chocolate, but quite sweet and with a honey note, if anything wood is far in the background. On the finish a certain sharpness, a bit alcoholic but without becoming unpleasant. Drinks: - Neat: 4/5
