Simply a pleasant, smooth classic of an unaged Rhum Agricole, you can easily drink it on any occasion – and it smells and tastes great too. I especially like the sweet cane nose. The 40% ABV is a bit low for me nowadays, but hey, this Agricole isn’t really made just for me, so I take it as a rum that doesn’t hurt but relaxes. Here on RumX it says you either love or hate this Agricole – I can’t say I love it, but I like it. An effortless sipper, definitely also good for Ti-Punch.

Overall a solid low ABV Agricole Blanc that’s really smooth. The nose is fresh, fruity, round and spicy. At the palate it’s smooth, fruity, vegetal and sweet with flavors of peppers, melon, grass and sugarcane. The finish is medium long.

Not the best rum but with a Martinican, in ti-punch you take a measured risk. A tad too light. But a rather pleasant sweetness and herbal side, with a good presence of cane. Decent value for money.

Last one for today. A typical Agricole representative of this Saint James. Nice notes of tropical fruits, sugarcane, and Agricole on the nose and palate. On the palate, also grassy and earthy. And at this price, actually a bargain.

Retasting this one at the German Rum Fest. This is definitely a mixer rum. Very light even thin. ---- I use this one for a Mojito and I think it's perfect for that. 4 cl Saint Jamas 2 cl Sugarcane syrup Fresh mint leaves Half a lime in cubes Shake really well and add spakly water to your liking

Vanishingly thin but agreeably easy in what it does have. A serviceable “hold you over” juice when you’re in the mood for a ti-punch but want to go no further than your corner grocery store.

Big positive surprise. I enjoy my rums only neat, maybe 3-5% more, for mixing, would suit it well. A delicate, elegant appearance. Loses clearly against O Reizinho, hence downgraded.

This was my first Agricole and it immediately impressed me. Nice floral, citrus, and grassy notes. Smooth in taste, no alcoholic sharpness, very enjoyable neat. An absolute knockout in cocktails. I really like using it as a Cachaça alternative. It works damn well in a Caipirinha ❤️ Yeah, it can always be more complex, but you can say that about any molasses rum. Saint James blanc is like an old love you always like to come back to.

A good Rhum Agricole with the typical agricole nose. Can also be drunk well neat. Good value for money. Suitable for beginners and connoisseurs. The 40% is quite mild, pleasant alcohol sharpness. The Ti Punch is very mild and will also delight women.

The aroma of pure sugar cane juice wafts towards you as soon as you open it. Mild, soft, sweet, not tangy and round on the finish. A well-rounded thing even neat. Top value for money

In the UK especially if you want a Cheap agricoles for your home bar for experimentations... Not as good as Clement or damoiseau but it's a tenner cheaper so I'll forgive it and only clocks at 40% The usual not3s from Agricole of grass and olives
