Light Puerto Rican column rum: vanilla, brown sugar and a little young wood, with a flash of nail polish on the nose and banana behind it. 06.12.2024 The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting Erstmal vielen Dank an Artur für die extreme Mühe und dass du teilweise so alte Rums überhaupt teilst. Die Rums selber waren jetzt bis auf ein paar wenige Ausnahmen nicht wirklich der Knaller, ABER mir hat es trotzdem sehr gut gefallen, da man solche Rums überhaupt nicht mehr ins Glas bekommt als Normalsterblicher und dieses ganze Hintergrundwissen das Artur geteilt hat finde ich wahnsinnig interessant. Da ziehe ich wirklich den Hut davor. Dicker Respekt!

Dégustation des rhums de Puerto Rico d’Artur. Alcool de prune et agrumes au nez. Une entrée de bouche presque agréable avec des fruits de la douceur et du bois léger. Un côté grillé ensuite un peu bizarre et décalé. La finale n’est pas si courte, quelques fruits la prolongent un peu. De la douceur, de la vanille et un bois bien intégré.

Arturs Puerto Rico Tasting, danke für die tolle Übersicht und Historie :-) Eine Reihe von DonQs im Wandel über die Jahrzehnte, angefangen aus den 50ern im Vergleich zum aktuellen Release. Überraschenderweise ist der neuste auch der Beste, deutlich fruchtiger und intensiver zu einem guten Kurs. Spannend!

Deutlich würziger wie die Vorgänger, etwas salziger, dunkler und röstiger. Fast schon verbrannt. Ist im gesamt Vergleich don q für mich der schwächste ehrlich gesagt. Wirkt einfach etwas unausbalanciert im Vergleich.

The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting Nr. 11 - besser als sein Vorgänger, aber immer noch wässrig. Etwas stärkere Fassaromen als seine Kollegen. Wie viele aus der Reihe mit Cola deutlich erträglicher.

Tasted 06-05-2017 This for me shows of the column still aged rum but not very well . As a sipper don't bother but can come alive in cocktails, I find the don q range is rather ignored
