Cruzan Blackstrap

Wildly surprising! Looks very dark, with a heavy molasses smell. Thicker than most Rums, but very enjoyable! If you like Molasses, Carmel and Black Licorice, this is for you. I think it is the perfect balance of sweetness without over doing it. Huge fan! My favorite from Cruzan

Engine oil or pure molasses in the glass from the color, really extremely thick and heavy in consistency almost like cough syrup or malt beer. extremely molasses-heavy and intense... you have to stand on it but should be one of the best mix rums ever, which I will still test! 😅 Top PLV for 40€ a liter. Absolute secret weapon for Corn'n'Oil! and Dark & Stormy 💯

Super thick molasses. Caramel, roast, dark chocolate. Some asfalt or burning tire. Dark brown pour here. Finish is still burnt molasses, toffee. Maybe treacle or something. Sampled this at the distillery. It was the most fun of the bunch I had.
