How is the market value of a rum calculated?

We combine hundreds of thousands of data points: current and historical shop prices from our partner network, verified auction results from our auction house partners (including Catawiki, Rum Auctioneer, and RhumAuction), and real transaction prices shared by the community. The result is an estimated fair market value for each bottle – updated regularly as new data comes in.

Can I see the market value of my entire rum collection?

How does the 1% RX+ discount work?

How do blind tastings work in the app?

Go to Blind Tastings in your profile. Create a new session and add the rums you (or your host) have selected. Each participant rates the rums without seeing which rum they're tasting – just a number (Rum 1, Rum 2, etc.). When everyone's done, tap "Reveal" and see which rum was which, along with everyone's scores. Perfect for tasting nights where you want honest, unbiased opinions.

Can I use blind tastings with friends who don't have RX+?

You need RX+ to create and manage a blind tasting session. Your friends can participate by entering their reviews through a shared session link, but the setup and reveal is managed by the RX+ member.

What are personal lists?

RX+ members can create custom lists to organize rums however they want – "To buy next", "Favorites under €50", "Tasting evening lineup", or anything else. Think of them as playlists for your rum journey.

What does the friends reviews filter do?
